TESTIMONIALS

I started seeing Nina late in my first trimester and continued working with her all the way up until giving birth. From the very beginning, I was impressed by her deep knowledge and the care she brought to each session. She not only helped me understand my body better during pregnancy, but also provided personalized exercises to do at home that made a huge difference.
Thanks to Nina, I felt strong, supported, and truly prepared for both birth and postpartum recovery. I had an amazing pregnancy, and I genuinely believe that my regular sessions with her played a big role in how great I felt physically throughout the entire experience. I’m so grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for expert, compassionate pelvic floor support during pregnancy and beyond.

I have been seeing Nina Wheeler PT for pelvic floor physical therapy, starting around 30 weeks pregnant. Our sessions are SO incredibly helpful- her hands-on work provides so much relief from the tightness caused by all of the pregnancy shifting of joints and muscles. She also has me do exercises that I can continue doing at home to both provide relief from tough pregnancy symptoms and also help engage my pelvic floor/open things up in preparation for labor. Our work has been helping to get baby in an optimal position as I approach my due date. Nina is also just really sweet, chill, easy to talk to and so supportive! So glad she has been a part of my pregnancy journey and would recommend her to anyone for pelvic floor PT.

Nina came highly recommended from my OBGYN as a pelvic floor therapist to prepare for labor and work through my pregnancy pains. I started seeing Nina at the end of my 2nd trimester, through my 3rd trimester. She is very knowledgeable about the body during pregnancy and was instrumental at helping work through my aches & pains, while preparing me for a successful labor. I highly recommend Nina to all my girlfriends who are pregnant!

Nina is a very knowledgeable physical therapist who is respectful, calming, and caring. She is always on time and provides a full hour of therapy for each appointment. I started seeing her for prenatal pelvic floor therapy to help me continue running during pregnancy. Later in pregnancy we worked on birth prep, then postpartum returning to run. She’s also treated me for keeping a pesky calf/Achilles injury at bay while I increase my running mileage. She’s located conveniently in Cardiff and makes working with most insurance providers easy! Thanks Nina!!

I recently completed 3 months of pelvic floor therapy with Nina. I started seeing her when I was 6 weeks postpartum as I was very eager to rehab my pelvic floor before starting to exercise again. I needed a lot of PT due to my intense and very long labor, and after 3 months of seeing Nina, my pelvic floor feels recovered. She focused directly on the parts of my body that needed the most work, and I always trusted her professional opinion. I will be seeing her again for my pelvic floor next time I have another baby!

Nina has been such an incredible part of my prenatal journey. I struggled with extreme hip pain and seeing Nina has helped not only my pain basically disappear but she has given me exercises and stretches to prep my pelvic floor for birth and help my hips when I do rarely feel pain. She’s very knowledgeable about the female pregnant body and explains things so I can understand what’s going on. I cannot imagine going through pregnancy without her help! Thanks Highline!
